چکیده

To evaluate the remineralising effects of fluoride (F) varnishes containing bioavailable calcium-phosphate compound (Ca-P) based remineralisation systems and 5000 ppm F toothpaste (FTP) on root caries lesions (RCLs) potential proanthocyanidin (PA) for treatments RCLs when used as an adjunct to regimens. Demineralised dentine a pH-cycling model were mimic oral environment. Remineralising MI VarnishTM (MIV) casein phosphopeptide–amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) Clinpro™ White Varnish (CPWV) tri-calcium (TCP) along with FTP PA evaluated regarding birefringence, elemental composition, mechanical properties mineral density remineralised DuraphatTM comparison. MIV, CPWV promoted incorporation into increased but did not change microhardness significantly. Surface significantly MIV or was FTP. Application regimens subsurface density. When applied FTP, highest ion uptake relative gain (%?Z) achieved, significant increase up 30 ?m depth. Generally, associated higher content than CPWV. Treatment carious surfaces remains challenging due complex pathological processes difficulty in restoring highly organised structure dentine. strategies targeting both preservation dentinal organic matrix have improve fluoride-mediated approaches.

Effect of fluoride varnishes containing tri-calcium phosphate sources on remineralization of initial primary enamel lesions.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of fluoride varnishes containing tri-calcium phosphate on remineralization of primary enamel lesions. Forty-eight sound primary incisors were coated with nail varnish, leaving two 1 x 1 mm windows before being placed in a demineralizing solution for four days. After demineralization, all the specimens were coated with nail varnish over one of the...

Fluoride varnishes in caries prevention.

The first fluoride varnishes were developed during the 1960s (Duraphat) sodium fluoride varnish) and 1970s (Fluor Protector) silane fluoride varnish) to prolong the contact time between fluoride and enamel. Fluoride varnishes adhere to enamel, and calcium fluoride formed after application acts as a long-term reservoir of fluoride. Currently Duraphat varnish is the most widely used topical fluor...

Minerization effects of fluoride Varnish containing defferent calciuM PhosPhate sources

This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of fluoride varnishes containing different calcium phosphate sources on demineralization of initial primary enamel lesions. Forty-eight sound primary incisors were completely coated with nail varnish except for two 1x1 mm windows before being placed in demineralizing solution for 4 days. After demineralization, one of the windows in each tooth was...

Comparison Study on Casein Phosphopeptide-Amorphous Calcium Phosphate Paste and Fluoride Gel on Remineralization of Demineralized Enamel Lesions

Objective: Tooth surface undergoes continuous remineralization and demineralization. The aim of this study was to compare the effect of Caseinphosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) paste and Fluoride gel on the microhardness of demineralized enamel lesions.   Methods: Frothy eight specimens of premolar teeth were chosen and randomly divided to 4 groups of 12. After the initial m...
